I've always loved watching swans. There's something so peaceful about the way they glide across the water, completely unhurried, like they know there's no need to rush.
When I painted Swan of Light, I wanted to capture that feeling more than anything else. The stillness of the lake, the soft reflections and the gentle light all came together to create a painting that feels calm and comforting.
I hope this piece becomes one of those paintings that helps you slow down for a moment whenever you walk past it. Maybe it'll remind you of a peaceful walk by the water, a favourite place, or simply encourage you to take a deep breath after a busy day.
